Life Hotel New York

Perfect position in the middle of Manhattan. Close to a subway station but also nice position for walking all around. Our room was a queen classic for two people, awesome comfortable bed, good light and the bathroom was ok. Would come back.

Fantastic location, right by Koreatown and just a short walk to Herald Square, Penn Station, and many restaurants and shops. We did hear some street noise every now and then, but it wasn’t so loud as to disturb our sleep (or maybe we were just too tired). The room we got looked pretty close to the photos online and was quite spacious by NYC standard. I liked the high ceiling and uncluttered look of the space. I also appreciated that the hotel offered both ice and filtered water to guests.

Location! 5 minutes to Empire state, 3 different subway lines, lots of great eateries. Room! Wonderful bathroom - really good facilities. Soundproof - we could not hear anyone inside (outside was a little noisy, but hey, it's NYC. Very clean sheets and towels. Staff - very helpful, always with a smile. Additionally, there are good check-in arrangements, there is always space to leave a car to load/unload; there is a restaurant and a bar on-site, these get noisy in the evening, but remember- great soundproof, we didn't hear them at all from our 4th floor room. I also loved how the hotel preserved the Life magazine heritage, as it's the former offices of the magazine.

Location

Location is great, the building is beautiful. Our room was super cute but tiny - the bed takes most of the space. It's hard to move around ;) The bathroom is excellent. In general, very happy with the experience.
